Now, of course, I need to begin that Kev helps others reaching out and those maintaining Recovery from Addictions. He is a Best-Selling writer and author over a bazillion books I cannot keep count! Now I know loads about you, but tell readers a little of what you do?
Pastoral Counselor, Christian Therapist, Interventionist, Best-Selling Author, Award-Winning Poet, Writer, Blog Writer and Guest Blog Writer, Speaker, Trainer, Master Coach, Consultant, Addiction Expert.

 

Where are you from? – CT, FLA, now The Poconos, PA.

 

Tell us more about you? Like your education, family life. Etc.

I have a very extensive education.  I continue to do research for my books and articles.  I have numerous certifications and degrees.

Family life, my mother passed six years ago, my father is in a nursing home in CT with Parkinson’s, my sister is an RN in CT, my brother is a Contractor in FLA, I live with my two girls in the Poconos, Bella and Stella, my pups! I am currently disabled with joint disease, in a wheelchair for now.  I am a former State Champion Powerlifter, a Nine-Time National Champion and Two-Time World Champion, and I still hold several bench-press records.  My long-time buddy died last month at 12 years of age, Mr. Rabbit, he was a Bichon Frise that my mother had given me as a gift 12 years ago. I don’t care for cats very much, well maybe one! LOL. I love dogs especially Pitbulls!

Do you have any latest news or projects? 

I’m closing in on 40 published books this year mostly non-fiction.  I am designing and selling products on Amazon besides books, such as coffee mugs, there is even one for writers! I’m doing a series on addictions called;  Ten The Hard Way; True Stories of Addiction and Recovery and the book one is already on Amazon’s Top 100 Best-Seller list, there were eight authors involved. We are getting ready to start Book 2 and are looking for people to submit stories on addiction from any point of view.

 

Are you a writer? YES!

 

When and why did you begin writing?
About 22 years ago as I wrote a poem when a young friend overdosed.

 

What inspired you to write your first book?
About 22 years ago.  I wrote a poem when a young friend overdosed and continued writing award-winning poetry.



How did you come up with the title?
I picked a title that people would relate to and use the keywords when looking for the type of book.

 

Do you have a specific writing style?
I write just like I talk and from feelings.

 


How much of your books are realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
Just about all of it.

To craft your works, do you have to travel? Before or during the process?
No.

Who designed the covers? I Do…

 

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Usually.

Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?  Who is your favorite writer? Alana Haase, Emma Ashley, and her Amish books.


Outside of family members, name one person that supported your commitment to becoming a published author?
Melissa Manes and you.

 

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
Nope, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?
Yes, doing our new book; Ten The Hard Way, The Amazing stories and strength of the authors in recovery.


If your book was made into a film, who would you like to play the lead?
Well, there are ten different people’s stories so the lead would have to be a real talent or storyteller, Nick Carroway who narrated The Great Gatsby, or Jim Carroll, American poet and author of The Basketball Diaries.

Any advice for other writers?
Keep writing you will get better and better, read, read, read, you will get better and better.  Use editors after you edit 15 times. Share one thing about you that will surprise readers…I’ve written almost 40 books in 18 months


Will you write another book?
No, I will write many more books! LOL.

What are you reading now?
I just finished Webs by Alana Haase, it was excellent!

 

Do you remember the first book you read?
Probably Curious George when very Young.

 

Is there one person, past or present, you would love to meet? Why?
Jesus, so I can get all the answers for everything!

 

Do you have any hobbies?
I used to be a power weightlifting champ, now I am writing to help others recover or train others to help those looking for treatment and recovery.

 

 

Favorite Music?
Rock n Roll!

Imagine a future where you no longer write. What would you do?
Use a typewriter!

 

What do you want to be written on your headstone as part of your Legacy?
“We Can’t Find Him; He’s Still Alive!”
