My publicist suggested I participate in a book blitz. Being a publishing neophyte, I wasn’t quite sure what a “book blitz” was exactly. I knew it was a promotional tool aimed at getting your book and your name in front of people outside your circle. Book tours are virtual tours where a book is promoted for a determined period of time — in this case, a week — makings virtual stops on different blogs. The stop can be an interview, a review, or just a simple promotion of the book.
